Why Virginia Tech SPIA

Our graduate programs enable part-time, full-time or non-degree students to advance their careers through scholarship and leadership training.

As a student in Virginia Tech's School of Public and International Affairs, you will receive a world-class education from expert scholars and practitioners. The SPIA community spans three campuses — Arlington (Washington D.C. Metro Area), Blacksburg and Richmond — and beyond. Our students and alumni can be found all around the world as leading scholars and professionals, impacting change in their communities, at their organizations and in society. Read the SPIA Director's welcome.
