Heather L. Nolen

Heather’s role in the School of Public and International Affairs is management of all aspects of HR, financial management, and compliance monitoring. She graduated from Radford University in December 2015 with two BBAs (Bachelor of Business Administration): one in marketing and one in management. While at Radford, she served as the Vice President for the College of Business and Economics (COBE) Student Advisory board, as well as the Executive Officer and founding member of the COBE Ambassador program. Heather has been working at Virginia Tech (VT) since April of 2016, where she has built a toolset of expertise in financial management in various colors of money, writing operating procedures, knowledge of VT policies, Human Resources, and pre/post award management. Working at VT for Heather is a lifetime accomplishment and family tradition.
