Charity L. Boyette

Ph.D. candidate, Public Administration and Public Affairs (PAPA)

Second-year PhD student and former Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State, who served overseas tours in Nigeria, Poland, and Belgium, and as a special assistant to U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. Born in Anchorage, Alaska, and raised in Richmond, Virginia. Received an MBA from the College of William & Mary’s Mason School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Averett University. Married, with two grown daughters.
