Michael Poore
Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) student
Michael is a 2023 Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) candidate from Woodbridge, Virginia. He is taking part in the Accelerated MURP Program and will graduate from Virginia Tech in 2022 with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Policy and Planning with minors in GIS and Strategic Communication. His interests lie in applying international planning and development practices in a local community environment. Furthermore, he wants to take a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to community development, applying his other interests in transportation, GIS, and circular wealth in a local context.
